A nice mark of confidence

Since 2004, Solution Capillaire Sélect has been creating restorative experiences for those affected by hair loss. Here are some of those stories.

“In June 2012, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I was told that I would need 5 months of chemotherapy and that I would lose my hair. I knew right away that I would get a wig, and that my physical appearance would be key to my recovery. I felt confident throughout my treatments. I was able to keep my situation private. That really helped me. Many people complemented me on what they thought was just a new hairdo. I felt just as beautiful with my wig as I did with my natural hair. I wasn’t traumatized by hair loss, because I knew that as soon as it happened, I would put my wig on. It was a weight off my shoulders.”

“It was really reassuring to know that there was a clinic in Châteauguay that offered advice and services, such as wig installation, hair cuts, and scalp care, all in a private and confidential environment. It was comforting to know that Nancy and her team could create a wig for me that looked just like my natural hair, what a relief!”

A natural transformation
“I want to take a few minutes to tell you that Wednesday morning, although I was feeling anxious, I wore my volumater. I didn’t have any problems putting it on, I got it right the first time. Once I got to the office, I was worried about my colleagues’ reactions and, to my amazement, people were telling me how good my colour and haircut looked on me. It looks so natural. What a joy! Thank you so much Nancy for your understanding and mostly your patience. You give us back the will to live.”

“At your place, I felt welcomed, respected, and reassured by the professionalism of the staff, and their good advice. Thank you for using your talents and expertise to help those in need. While you and your staff are hard at work, we get to read a good book, listen to music, and sip on tasty coffee, tea, or herbal tea. We feel at home…and that makes us want to come back. See you soon.”
